IP STARS 2020 edition: Patent firm rankings published

All the 2020 rankings of the leading firms for patent work are now available online

The national patent rankings were first revealed earlier this month in the summer edition of the Managing IP magazine. They follow our national trademark and general intellectual property rankings (published in the spring edition of the magazine). Visit ipstars.com to view all the available 2020 rankings.

Practice areas and jurisdictions

Managing IP’s research analysts evaluated and ranked firms for their patent filing/prosecution and contentious work. Our national patent rankings this year cover more than 50 jurisdictions. For the United States, we also have patent rankings for states such as California and New York and three special national rankings (ITC litigation, life sciences IP and PTAB litigation). We introduced two new patent ranking tables for Germany.

What to expect next

We still have more rankings and research content for the IP STARS 2020 edition to publish this year. In July, we will reveal the Corporate IP Stars 2020 (a special list for in-house practitioners) and the firm rankings for copyright work.
