Martina Beato, a lawyer specialising in intellectual property at e-commerce company Mercado Libre in Argentina, was picked because of her exceptional legal acumen and unwavering dedication.
Beato manages Mercado Libre’s IP portfolio and handles the online platform’s trademark prosecution worldwide.

She graduated with a degree in law from the Torcuato Di Tella University in Buenos Aires in 2018, the same year she received a prize for academic excellence from Human Rights Watch.
