A curious mind will take you far in many fields, not least in trademark law.
It's just one of the traits that has helped Mila Misevska excel in her two years as an intellectual property lawyer at Maltese gaming machine supplier Play’n Go.
Her nominator chose Misevska not just for what she knows, but how much she tries to learn.
“Her knowledge of trademarks is good for someone of her experience, but what I find amazing is her desire to research.
“She is always looking at what is new with trademarks and how the various IP offices are dealing with new matters,” her nominator says.
Misevska’s professional ambition is to become an expert in her field, she tells Managing IP.
“I like to analyse, investigate, and collate new information. Getting to the bottom of things and providing solutions is my main motivator.”
But don’t assume Misevska’s appetite for learning is indicative of someone who only has time for IP. “I love fashion and can scroll clothes for hours,” she says. “Life is too short not to shop.”
