Mélodie Sofack is always available and often finds helpful solutions to speed up tricky internal processes. That’s the view of her nominator, put forward when describing Sofack’s role within French software corporation Dassault Systèmes.

Sofack joined the company in 2019 having worked for Sopra Steria, an IT service management company also based in France. It was there that she gained the experience of counselling on and negotiating IT services agreements with a high value and with IP challenges.

At Dassault Systèmes, Sofack contributes to copyright enforcement activities worldwide, working to find new and useful ideas to issues regarding contracts, general legal advice, and litigation.

She tells Managing IP: “I am passionate about innovative activities and entrepreneurship, and I would like to help new actors in innovative and creative sectors by sharing my experience, challenging the status quo, and protecting what matters.”
