Singapore and China sign PPH

The IP Office of Singapore and China's SIPO have agreed to a pilot PPH programme.

Tan Yih San, the chief executive of IPOS, and Tian Lipu, the commissioner of SIPO, signed a memorandum of understanding earlier this week to start the two year pilot programme, which is expected to go live on September 1.

Singapore has PPH programmes set up with the Japan, the Republic of Korea and the United States. China has entered into PPH agreements with a number of countries, including Germany, the United States and Japan.
