Duane Morris has boosted its Philadelphia office with new IP litigation partners David Wolfsohn and Aleksander Goranin, formerly of IP boutique Woodcock Washburn.
Wolfsohn is an IP litigator in patent, copyright, licensing, trade mark, unfair competition/Lanham Act and trade secret cases. He obtained the largest indirect-profits copyright award ever ($30.4 million) in The Graham Company v USI MidAtlantic. Before attending law school, he received a doctorate in classical piano from the Manhattan School of Music.
Goranin served as chair of Woodcock Washburn’s litigation practice from 2012 until his arrival at Duane Morris. He litigates patent, copyright, trade mark and trade secret cases involving software, life sciences and manufacturing technologies.
