David Shofi joins CPA

IP management and software company CPA has hired David Shofi as vice-president, IP strategy solutions

Shofi was previously chief IP counsel at the global semiconductor and life sciences corporation, ATMI (now part of Entegris). Earlier in his career he spent eight years as IP counsel at IBM and was an associate at the law firm, Baker Botts. Shofi has a degree in electrical engineering, is licensed to practice law in New York and Connecticut and is a registered patent attorney practicing before the USPTO.

Shofi’s new role at CPA will see him analyse processes and technology for innovation development, IP portfolio management, and IP litigation and monetization.
