Former Qualcomm director of patents joins Rouse

Rouse has hired Erick Robinson as chief patent counsel for the Asia Pacific

Robinson will be based in China. His practice includes prosecution and contentious patent matters, as well as regulatory and policy issues. During his time at Qualcomm, he also negotiated technology and IP related deals.

Before joining Qualcomm, he worked in private practice and as in-house counsel in Texas, North Carolina and New York.
