Anna Mae Koo
Anna Mae is a partner of Vivien Chan & Co, where she practises non-contentious, contentious, and transactional intellectual property (IP) law. She regularly advises on all areas of IP, including licensing, franchising and other transactional IP; due diligence and strategic acquisitions; prosecution; technical assistance and technology transfer agreements; trade practices; and unfair competition law in China and Hong Kong.
Anna Mae is involved in many renowned international associations, including as vice chair of the Professional Development Committee of the International Trademark Association and the Litigation Committee of the International Bar Association. She has been a Techstars mentor in London, serves on the Innovation and Technology Venture Fund for the Hong Kong government, acts an adviser for the C31V corporate venture fund of CapitaLand (Singapore), and is on the Entrepreneurship Committee Advisory Group for Cyberport Hong Kong.
Anna Mae was a Prince Philip Scholar at the University of Cambridge, where she read law, and obtained a master’s in real estate from the University of Hong Kong.
