Anna Mae Koo

Anna Mae is a partner of Vivien Chan & Co, where she practises non-contentious, contentious, and transactional intellectual property (IP) law. She regularly advises on all areas of IP, including licensing, franchising, and other transactional IP; due diligence and strategic acquisitions; prosecution; technical assistance and technology transfer agreements; trade practices; and unfair competition law in China and Hong Kong.

Anna Mae is involved in many renowned international associations, including as chair of the Professional Development Committee of INTA and the Litigation Committee of the International Bar Association. She also actively participates in public services and is a member of the Customs YES Honorary Presidents’ Association, a youth programme initiated by the Hong Kong Customs and Excise Department. Anna Mae has been widely recognised as a leading practitioner by major legal awards and publications.

Anna Mae was a Prince Philip Scholar at the University of Cambridge, where she read law, and obtained a master’s in real estate from the University of Hong Kong.
