Anandan S

Anandan is a lead patent attorney at De Penning & De Penning with around 20 years of experience. He works especially in the areas of mechanical engineering, automobile engineering, manufacturing technology, textile machinery, and related fields of science.

Anandan has been a registered patent agent since 2010 and has handled numerous patent proceedings before the Indian Patent Office and the Madras High Court, and prosecuted more than 2,500 patent applications. He manages the patent portfolio of various leading firms and works with a variety of clients, including large corporates, research institutes, universities, small and medium-sized companies, and individuals. Anandan also coordinates with patent associates in the US, Europe, Japan, and China regarding filing and prosecuting foreign patent applications.

Prior to joining De Penning & De Penning, he worked in the R&D centre of a leading automobile manufacturing company as a research executive, and at an intellectual property research firm as a patent analyst. Anandan is a member of the Asian Patent Attorneys Association.
