Abhishek is a seasoned professional in advising clients from diverse sectors on a wide range of intellectual property (IP) and IT issues in India and the Indian subcontinent. He has worked on brand clearance, IP protection and enforcement, pre-litigation mediation, IP due diligence, IP commercialisation, drafting and vetting of contracts and recent amendments, evolving e-commerce regulations, drafting of brand usage policies, privacy policies, etc.
With over 18 years of experience, Abhishek has been instrumental in developing creative strategies best suited to the client’s needs and is an expert in handling contentious and non-contentious matters before various forums, advertising/media clearance, and advising on practical issues surrounding misleading advertising practices in India. He has successfully handled several domain name disputes before the WIPO and the .IN Registry.
Abhishek regularly writes articles for leading IP publications and is an active member of the International Trademark Association’s Data Protection Committee and the Asian Patent Attorneys Association.
