US firm Pillsbury has hired Rafi Azim-Khan of Wragge & Co as a partner in its London office.
Azim-Khan will join the firm as European head of its IP/IT practice. In his five years in Wragge's London office, he headed the e-business and marketing law groups and was on the firm's US desk. Before that, he was a partner at McDermott Will & Emery where he headed its e-business and marketing law practices.
In a statement, Pillsbury said that the appointment forms part of the firm's London strategy to focus initially on European growth in the firm's core domestic practices: energy, finance and capital markets, and outsourcing/IP/IT.
