King & Spalding has added three partners to its IP practice in Atlanta. Tony Askew, Steve Schaetzel and Jim Johnson are all joining the firm from Kilpatrick Stockton.
The three were hired to bolster King & Spalding's patent and trade mark litigation and patent prosecution practices, particularly in the biotech and pharmaceutical sectors.
John Pratt, head of IP at Kilpatrick Stockton, said the firm is always actively recruiting lateral hires and recent graduates and will continue its own hiring drive as usual.
