The challenges to protecting IP in China are well known. China is generally regarded as the largest source of infringing, counterfeited, and pirated products that are threatening innovative economies around the world. Intellectual property is now a priority for government-to-government discussions, but opportunities exist for industry-to-industry dialogue as well as improving enforcement of IP rights in China.
